A Native Oregonian with a National-Caliber Education

Dr. Tolan grew up in Astoria, Oregon, and began his academic journey at Stanford University. He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU), then completed a medicine residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Portland. His anesthesia training took him to renowned institutions including Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Stanford University Hospital, and the University of California Hospitals in Davis.
