Meet Dr. Jay P. Malmquist
Dr. Jay P. Malmquist is the founder and surgical leader of Malmquist Oral Surgery. A board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Malmquist has dedicated his career to advancing implant and regenerative techniques that transform patient outcomes.
He received his dental degree and surgical training from Oregon Health & Science University and completed additional residency and specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Malmquist has been actively involved in clinical research, lecturing nationally and internationally on bone regeneration and dental implantology.
At Malmquist Oral Surgery, Dr. Malmquist’s commitment to excellence is evident in every case he treats. He is especially known for helping patients who have been turned away by other providers due to severe bone loss or medical complications.

Our surgical assistants are highly skilled professionals with extensive training and experience in advanced surgical procedures, who support Dr. Malmquist’s commitment to providing superior patient care.
All of our assistants are certified through the surgical assistants training program administered by the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, which covers surgical procedures, assisting in the administration of anesthesia and medical emergencies.
Our entire staff is BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and our surgical assistants are also ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified.
